WHAT DO I BRING TO CLASS:

RIDE SPLIT: cycling cleats (SPD compatible) and cross trainer sneakers.

RUN SPLIT: cross trainer or running sneakers.

CAN I PARTICIPATE IF I’M PREGNANT?

Yes, after 14 weeks we may ask for a note from your doctor.

WHAT IF I’M NEW TO WORKING OUT?

We’re honored you’re starting your journey with us! The hardest part is getting started. We are passionate about creating a space for all fitness levels, where everyone feels welcome. If this is new to you, give us a heads-up, and our instructors will ensure you’re set up for success.

HOW DO I BOOK AND MANAGE CLASSES? 

It’s easiest to manage your classes through our app. On the app homepage, you’ll see all your upcoming classes. To cancel, tap your reservation and then scroll down and click "Cancel." Alternatively, sign in through ‘My Account’ at the top of our website. Once signed in, click "Manage Account.”

HOW DO I CANCEL MY MEMBERSHIP? 

To cancel your membership, please send a written notice to info@thesplistudio.com at least 30 days before your next billing cycle. Please note that memberships renew automatically unless canceled in advance, and all payments are non-refundable.

CAN I PUT MY MEMBERSHIP ON HOLD?

Absolutely. Life happens, and we’re here to support you through it. Just check out The SPLIT Freeze Policies for everything you need to know about pausing your membership.

WHEN DOES MY MEMBERSHIP ACTIVATE?

Memberships and class packs activate on the date of your first visit. This must occur within 90 days of purchase. If you need to adjust your activation date, please send us an email at info@thesplitstudio.com

DO YOU HAVE INTRO OFFERS? 

Yes — we do! We have special intro offers available. Reach out and we’ll be happy to share all the details.

DO YOU OFFER FIRST RESPONDER AND STUDENT RATES? 

Yes—we’re honored to support First Responders and students with 20% off membership. Just provide proof of enrollment or employment, and we’ll take care of the rest. These rates are exclusive to memberships and can’t be combined with other offers or applied to drop-in classes.

DO YOU HAVE WATER ON SITE?

We have a bottle filler and water fountain, so please bring your water bottle! Screw top containers only and fully closeable (i.e. no cans or glass bottles)

DO YOU HAVE TOWELS?

We do not provide sweat towels, please bring one or two of your own to class.

DO YOU HAVE SHOWERS?

Unfortunately we do not have showers, but please help yourself to some complimentary amenities in our restrooms. 

HOW IS YOUR METHOD DIFFERENT THAN OTHER FITNESS STUDIOS?

Our boutique fitness studio, The SPLIT, addresses a key industry gap by offering 60-minute classes that combine cardio and strength training (cycling + strength and/or treadmill + strength) under one roof. Relying solely on cardio isn’t enough. It’s crucial to incorporate weight training into your routine to maintain lean muscle, increase strength, and enhance flexibility. Combining cardio and weight training creates a powerful synergy that improves cardiovascular fitness, aids in weight loss, and promotes a balanced and effective approach to exercise. With heart rate monitors for tracking progress, we ensure members stay committed and achieve their goals.

HOW ARE YOUR CLASSES STRUCTURED?

Our class schedule offers two types of classes held at different times. 

RIDE SPLIT

If you selected to take our RIDE SPLIT, you will enter the cycling studio 10min before class and set up on the bike you selected through our app before class. The cycling class will run approximately 25-30min. Once class has concluded, you will exit the cycling studio, change your cleats (if they are not a hybrid cleat) to sneakers and transition to the strength room for an additional 25-30min of strength training. 

RUN SPLIT

If you selected to take RUN SPLIT, you will enter the tread studio 10min before class and set up on the treadmill you selected through our app before class. The treadmill class will run approximately 25-30min. Once class has concluded, you will exit the tread studio and transition to the strength room for an additional 25-30min of strength training. 

WHAT ARE YOUR CLASS TIMES?

Class schedules vary by day and class type. Once you become a member, you’ll have full access to our app where you can view the live schedule, explore class descriptions, and book your spot.

WHAT IS THE BOOKING WINDOW FOR EACH?  

Booking windows vary by membership tier. Please refer to your membership details for specific access times.

CANCELLATION POLICY

Cancellations & Rescheduling

Cancellations and rescheduling must be done at least 24-hours prior to class to avoid penalties.  To cancel or reschedule your class, simply open The SPLIT app or log in to your account at www.thesplitstudio.com.

Please note, we do not accept cancellations via email or through social media. Clients are responsible for managing reservations through their account.

Late Cancellations

Cancelling less than 24 hours before your scheduled class time will result in a forfeit of your credit & a $15 late cancellation fee.

No-Shows

Not showing up for your scheduled class will result in a forfeit of your credit & a $25 no-show fee.

HOW TO CANCEL A CLASS

We like to provide an opportunity to everyone to sign up for a class. If you are unable to attend, please cancel your spot through your account, via our website or app. We always work with members to ensure everyone understands our policies. Exceptions may be made for illness, injury, and inclement weather.

COMMUNICATION

We are a small team. We do not respond to emails over the weekend unless urgent. Please allow 2-3 business days for a response; however, we make an effort to respond in a timely manner whenever possible. All membership or account-related questions must be communicated via email to info@thesplitstudio.com. We do not respond to such inquiries over social media.

WAITLISTS

We want everyone to have a chance at attending class! Our waitlist management system is set up to auto-enroll members based on the order in which they joined. Members will receive an email notification when they’ve successfully been added to class from the waitlist. Additionally, members will be able to see where they are in line, and how many others are on the waitlist. The system will stop auto-enrolling 30 minutes before class begins.

Should you no longer wish to attend class, please take yourself off the waitlist to avoid being added and then having to late cancel.

ARRIVING LATE

We offer a firm 5-minute grace period. This is for your safety and also the safety and experience of others. If you arrive after this time, unfortunately, you won’t be able to join the class. Your class credit will be forfeited, but rest assured, there is no extra fee.

Please note, pressuring the front desk or instructor to allow you into class past the 5 minute mark will not be tolerated.
